Paul Harmer Rosendahl

Dr. Paul Harmer Rosendahl, 68, of Hilo, died on Monday, March 19, 2012 at home with family and friends. He was born on January 8, 1944 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was a graduate of Dartmouth College before moving to Hawaii to complete his degrees at the University of Hawaii. He was an Archaeologist in Hawaii and the Pacific Basin for over 40 years.

He will be loved and missed. He is survived by his wife, Shasta Rosendahl of Hilo; son, Carl Rosendahl of Hilo; daughter, Kristin Tia Rosendahl-Bowman (Steven) of Sierra Madre, California; step-daughters, Lani Metcalf of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and Amber Metcalf of Taos, New Mexico; brothers, Al (Phyllis) Rosendahl of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Eric Rosendahl of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service has been set for Sunday, April 22, 2012.
