- Monday, April 29 Check-in at Hotel Washington followed by a 5:30 pm reception in the Freedom Room with ample hors d’oeuvres.
- Tuesday, April 30
- 9:45 am: Depart from hotel by bus for U.S. Capitol
- 10:30 am: Professional tour of Capitol
- 12 Noon: Lunch on your own and free time
- 4:00 pm: Depart Hotel Washington by bus for Kennedy Center and a private tour of its new permanent rooftop exhibit: Art and Ideals: John F. Kennedy
- 6:00 pm: Dinner at Sequoia Restaurant on Georgetown riverfront
- 8:30 pm: Monuments by Moonlight bus tour of Washington DC, returning to hotel
- Wednesday, May 1
- 10:00 am onward:
Choice of guided tours with classmates- National Museum of the American Indian
- National Gallery of Art
- National Air & Space Museum
- Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden
- Smithsonian Museum of Asian Art (self-guided)

- 6:00 pm: 80th Birthday Party dinner at Joe’s Seafood & Prime Steak (750 15th Street NW, just two blocks from our hotel) with remarks by Senator Gus King ‘66

- 9:00 am Breakfast in Hotel Washington’s Lobby Restaurant followed by Class VP & Reverend Budge Gere’s reflections on Beginning Our Ninth Decade of Life.
